Hair Whorl is a spatial installation composed of twelve dispersed units, each featuring a rotating wig mounted on a wooden box and stand. The works are scattered across the exhibition space, occupying floors, beams, and architectural structures. Each unit is activated by an internal timer that triggers movement at irregular intervals, creating an atmosphere of uncertainty and quiet tension. The wigs, matching the length of the artist’s own hair, evoke detached presences—like residual spirits inhabiting the space. Suspended between animation and stillness, the work blurs the boundary between the organic and the mechanical, the living and the inert.
