Unrest (Night) is a mixed media work on metal developed through rusting processes. The painting reflects a period of inverted sleep patterns, marked by staying awake through the night and resting during the day. Organic, plant-like forms emerge across the surface, growing irregularly through oxidation. These forms embody a sense of nocturnal unrest, anxious, restless, and quietly expansive, capturing the emotional texture of night-time wakefulness and the unease that lingers when time feels displaced.
